You are entitled to tax relief for certain subscription/union fees, for washing your own uniform and for tools & equipment that you have purchased to perform your job. You can also claim a tax deduction for purchasing your own uniform/shoes which is used exclusively to perform your job.

HMRC will send you an assessment for each tax year that you are due a refund. The final amount due will be shown on the most recent assessment (previous years refunds are carried forward to the most recent year claimed). We will send you a cheque within 3 weeks from the date of your assessment less our fees – as detailed in our fees section.
We operate on a no win, no fee basis. This means that if you are not due a tax refund, there is no fee for our service. We will give you the peace of mind in knowing that your tax code has been reviewed and is correct – all for FREE. Any refunds received incur a fee of 25% (plus VAT) of the refund secured (subject to a minimum admin fee of £25 plus VAT). There are NO hidden fees. You will receive 100% of the increase to your net pay going forward.
With nothing to lose, and only to gain….we feel compelled to use the old classic cliché – “It’s a no brainer”.

This means that if you pay tax at the basic rate band of 20%, then you are due a refund of £12 (£60 x 20%). A higher rate taxpayer would be due a refund of £24 (£60 x 40%).
No. The ‘Repayment Due’ on page 2 of your most recent tax calculation is your actual refund. The previous years ‘repayments’ have been carried forward to the current year.
Provided you have worked and paid tax in the UK within the last 4 years, you are still eligible to make a claim.
